Each year, the ECHAT exam is organized for students selected for admission to the IIHM. However, since last year, the format of the review has changed given the pandemic and the lockdown that followed. As students are worried about their future studies and career prospects, the IIHM offers them a unique opportunity to sit for the ECHAT exam for admission from the comfort of their own home.
Bearing in mind the future of young students seeking admission to hospitality and hotel management courses, the IIHM has introduced for the first time, the online E-Chat exam, where students will be able to take a take the sit-at-home exams on the scheduled dates, 6, 7, 19 August 20, 2021.
The ECHAT is an admission test that future students, who have decided to study hotel management at the IIHM, must take and pass in order to be admitted to the institution.
Candidates taking the exam will receive an email link where they first need to register for the exam. Students will be able to take the exam either from their mobile phone or from their personal computer at home.
Following the online exam, a personal interview will also take place via video call for candidates. The IIHM advisers will conduct the personal interviews under camera surveillance. IIHM advisers will stay in constant contact with applicants throughout the ECHAT online process.
